▫️ S I M P L E S W A P S ▫️ We are starting our simple swap series. It will feature products that you can incorporate into your household to reduce waste and harmful chemicals. First up: @notoxlife Dishblock. If you haven’t heard of this product before, get ready. The Dish Block dishwashing soap is a cleaning powerhouse with a rich, sudsy lather. Cuts stubborn grime and grease on dishes, pots and pans. With added aloe vera to be gentle on your hands. Completely unscented and fragrance-free. You can even use it for cleaning-duty all over your home. Take stains out of laundry, take labels off of jars, spot clean your carpet, use it to wipe down counters... it's a truly multipurpose product. Each 5.9 oz bar of dish soap will last a LONG time. Pro kitchen tip: Use the same Dish Block® suds to clean your sink when it gets dirty, this can be used on porcelain, stainless, stone and glass sinks safely. We have seen customers use it to clean dirty & stained oven top surfaces as well! We like to pair it with our bamboo Casa Agave Pot scrubber and @notoxlife dish brush. You can purchase replacement heads for the dish brush. Have you tried the dish block?

▫️S I M P L E. S W A P S▫️ I made this switch many years ago for the following reasons; Dryer sheets can contain volatile organic compounds like acetaldehyde and butane, which can cause respiratory irritation. Quats, a fabric softener chemical, is often part of a family of chemicals called quaternary ammonium compounds, many of which are linked to asthma. An astounding ~3.8billion of these are thrown out in Canada each year. A simple swap to PurEco Sheets can replace your disposable dryer sheets for years with one package, and they really work! I like to use them with our dryer balls to reduce dryer time by 15-20% Pro tip: I add a few drops of essential oils to the sheets for a fresh smelling load.
